Originally the Main Entrance and a wing of the Old Royal Naval Hospital, the building, part of our Gibraltar Heritage has been converted into a modern 62 bed residency for Intern Dementia Patients.

Our refurbishment team and designers have employed construction methods to retain the building’s original character, whilst utilising highest quality construction materials and systems.

Internally, the large and multiple open type wards have been transformed into modern private rooms with private facilities to assist the wellbeing and assure the comfort of the patients.

Alike our other Gibraltar Health Authorities refurbishments projects, this facility has been fitted with latest mechanical, electrical and security systems including filtered ventilation and air conditioning, generator back-up, treated water storage, fully automated building management systems, up to date health standards electrical installations, water boosting and centralized hot water facilities.
